William J. Pulte (Bill) was an anonymous philanthropist, loving family man, and home building giant. Bill constructed his first home in 1951 at age 18 and went on to found and build Pulte Homes into one of the largest homebuilders in the United States. Through The Pulte Family Charitable Foundation, his family continues his legacy of generosity.
We created a logo for the foundation that blends the traditional with the contemporary and remains rooted in their values. Along with the logo, we created a seal for the foundation to communicate their four areas of giving. Striving to enact the seven corporal works of mercy, they provide grants through hunger and thirst, shelter, educational access, and care for others.
The Pulte Family Charitable Foundation’s new website streamlines the way they talk about their grants and partnerships in a way that ties back to their mission and is guided by the tenants of the founder's faith.
When mapping out the information highlighted on the site, we focus on the unique needs of the foundation's different audiences. The end product ensures a beautiful, easy to navigate website for all users either wanting to learn about the foundation, apply for funding, or offer a donation.
With the variety of devices available to users, mobile-first design is a priority in our process. Built on a responsive layout, The Pulte Family Charitable Foundation has a new website that functions flawlessly across all screen sizes, with a design system that can continue to be utilized as the site expands to the needs of the growing foundation.
Working with Wheelhouse was a pleasure. They were able to get a sense of our what our Foundation was about and bring that to life. We are delighted with the beautiful website they created for the Pulte Family Charitable Foundation.
